Marshall transitions to NDI|HX3 with latest PTZ

Designed for broadcast production facilities with few technical staff, Marshall has developed the CV730-ND3 PTZ camera for the production of high-impact content. Incorporating NDI|HX3 technology, the latest PTZ camera addition combines ultra-low latency and superior video quality in less bandwidth.

The CV730-ND3 features a premium Sony 4K sensor with 9m pixels and square pixel array designed behind a long 30x optical zoom range. Providing a wide range of movement options to content creators capturing UHD or HD video, all Marshall PTZ cameras are equipped with a 340° horizontal pan range and 120° vertical tilt with slow to fast speed adjustments.

Equipped with 12G/3G-SDI, HDMI and USB 3.0 outputs, the CV730-ND3 features NDI|HX3 premium video codec and standard IP (HEVC) encoding with SRT. Video, audio, control, power and tally functions are enabled by the PoE++ one-cable camera setup configured by a Netgear M4250-series or M4300-series managed AV-over-IP switch.

Requiring slightly higher bandwidth than previous NDI|HX models, the latest NDI|HX3 format delivers less than 100ms end-to-end low latency. Available in white and black, the CV730-ND3 camera incorporates the benefits of both NDI|HX3 and standard IP (HEVC) streams.
